The Combi TDR - mini OTDR + MTDR (Model No.:OMTDR-1000) for both optic fiber & metallic cable is a high-end instrument capable of identifying a wide range of cable faults using Time Domain Reflectometry, designed to meet today¡¯s most demanding network cabling problems.
Keeping to its traditional ways, the OMTDR-1000 displays the actual waveform or signature of the optic finer or metallic cable thereby enabling engineers and technicians to pinpoint any impedance changes along the optic fiber & metallic cable.
 

 

NanoTronix Combi TDR (Model No.: OMTDR-1000) is a compact and lightweight handheld Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) with integrated Metallic Time Domain Reflectometer (MTDR) in one unit to be used for either optic fiber or metallic cable network
The OTDR mode can be used for analyzing the physical condition of optical fibers in the installation and maintenance of optical communication networks. It provides users with the complete information on the attenuation and reflective or non-reflective loss of optical fibers so as to locate faults, connectors and splices along the fibers.

The MTDR mode is suitable for installation, maintenance and fault-finding (complete open & short, partial open & short, loading coils, loose connection, broken lines etc.) of metallic cables such as CATV, CCTV, Coaxial cables, Power cable, Telephone line and UTP cable whatever consists of at least two conductors.
